Scala on Łąkowa — an apartment in Gdańsk city centre
Scala is a Moderna Holding development at 60 Łąkowa Street in Gdańsk. Its location in Śródmieście, near Długie Ogrody and Podwale Przedmiejskie, combines a city-centre address with access to the Motława riverfront and the Main Town. Brick façades and courtyards give the development a distinctive character.
For an owner, it matters that the location is translated into an accurate listing for the specific apartment. In the description, we show its layout, amenities, directions and facilities that are actually available. We include a balcony, parking space or other features only if they belong to your apartment's offering.
A central address alone does not replace well-run rentals. Guests need clear information, responsive communication and a prepared interior, while an owner needs someone responsible for day-to-day tasks. This organisation should be agreed as carefully as the apartment's appearance.
GrandRent already manages apartments at Scala. Bring your apartment on board
We manage apartments at Scala and invite further owners to talk with us. We start with your situation: is the apartment ready, are you only just furnishing it, or is it currently rented by another operator? You do not need a complete plan to learn how we work.
GrandRent and Grand Apartments have operated in the Tricity since 2012. Our work does not end with preparing a listing: within the agreed scope, we market stays, communicate with guests, organise cleaning and provide ongoing care for the apartment. You do not have to coordinate every one of these tasks yourself.
Before the apartment is handed over, we agree access to the building and apartment, the state of its equipment, how faults are reported and responsibility for individual tasks. This makes clear what the service covers and which additional work requires separate arrangements.
A turnkey-finished apartment and rental readiness — what else should you check?
Moderna offers turnkey-finished apartments at Scala in Model M. Finished walls, floors, bathroom and kitchen are an important starting point, but before welcoming guests, you also need to check that the equipment is complete and that the specific apartment is convenient for everyday use.
Let us discuss sleeping arrangements, blackout options, luggage storage, kitchen equipment and access to appliances. We consider the durability of furniture and solutions that make cleaning and servicing easier. We match guest numbers to actual conditions and comfort, not just the number of pieces of furniture in the apartment.
You can hand over an apartment you have prepared yourself. If you need changes, we will agree design, furnishing or an interior refresh as a separate scope with its own quotation. Photos of apartments we manage do not mean GrandRent created their interior design.
Listing, pricing and guest care — one work plan
We begin preparing a listing with real photos and a description of the apartment. At Scala, it is worth showing not only the interior but also the entrance and the building's surroundings, so guests know what to expect. We do not replace photos of an apartment with material from another apartment.
We manage the calendar and work on prices in view of dates, the apartment's standard and market conditions. We combine marketing stays with guest communication and organising the apartment's preparation between bookings. We agree the scope of technical care and rules for additional costs with the owner.
We select a short- or long-term rental model to suit your plans, the apartment's intended use and documentation, and the building's rules of use. We do not assume the same solution for every apartment at Scala or promise consistent occupancy or income.

Already have an operator at Scala? Start the change by getting your contract in order
If you are considering changing operator, first check your current contract, the end date of the existing arrangement and reservations already accepted. We agree a plan for handing over keys, access, equipment and settlements. We do not propose starting new management without clarifying existing commitments.
Listings, reviews and bookings from portals do not automatically transfer to a new operator. Whether they can be transferred depends on the contracts and rules of the individual services. We check these matters before starting management rather than promise the listing history will be retained regardless of conditions.
Compare not only the commission, but also responsibility for the apartment, contact with the dedicated manager, additional costs and how settlements work. We can discuss your needs without publishing individual apartment details or the terms of your previous arrangement.
Your apartment at Scala. Transparent terms of working with GrandRent
In our booking-management model, you have a dedicated contact, online access to the calendar and prices, and monthly statements. Payment for the previous month is made by the 10th day of the following month. We agree rules for your own stays and the scope of responsibility before we begin working together.
We agree the commission individually. Repairs, equipment and additional work require separate arrangements, so you know not only the rate but also the scope and costs of the service. We discuss a specific apartment and its needs, not a guaranteed investment outcome.
Tell us that you have an apartment at Scala and leave your phone number or email address. The first conversation about entrusting an apartment for rental management is free. We agree and price any further advisory or design services separately. We already manage apartments in this development—let us talk about yours.
