Wodopój in Gdańsk — an apartment by the Radunia Canal
Wodopój is a Moderna Holding development on Wodopój Street, in the Old Town in Gdańsk’s city centre. Its surroundings include the Radunia Canal, St Catherine’s and St Bridget’s churches, and the Great Mill. For future stays, Gdańsk Main Railway Station, the European Solidarity Centre and the historic Main Town are also relevant.
For an owner, location is only the beginning. The layout, access, comfortable sleeping arrangements and an accurate presentation of the furnishings also matter. We build the rental offer around the apartment’s real characteristics rather than promising that an attractive address alone will bring bookings.
We show four photographs provided to us of the development site and its surroundings. The tall building in the background and the boards on the fence do not depict finished Wodopój apartments. We will align the start of management with the actual handover and the property’s readiness, not with a date inferred from the photographs.
Buying an apartment at Wodopój? Start with a usage plan
Will the property mainly serve guests, your own stays in Gdańsk, or both? This decision affects the furnishings, how it is made available and calendar availability. For an initial conversation, information on the stage of purchase and your plans is enough; the floor plan and handover standard will help clarify the scope.
Before choosing short-term or long-term rental, we check the property’s permitted use, documentation and the building’s rules of use. We do not assume every apartment can be offered in any model. Before the first booking, we assess the readiness of the furnishings, access and guest information.
If you are only comparing properties and need an analysis of costs or rental assumptions, investment advisory is a separate service. We agree its scope and price before it begins. The initial conversation about entrusting an apartment to our management remains free of charge.

Apartment furnishings — guest comfort and durability for future stays
Preparing for rental starts with everyday situations: where a guest will put a suitcase, how they will darken the bedroom, whether they can open the door freely and sit comfortably at the table. A fold-out sleeping space makes sense when it does not obstruct circulation. We match the number of guests to the layout and comfort, not to the maximum number of possible beds.
Durable furniture, practical fabrics, hard-wearing surfaces and a considered amount of decoration make cleaning between stays easier. These are decisions worth making before buying furnishings, instead of revising the interior after the listing has gone live.
We can separately discuss design, styling and oversight of the fit-out while working with a crew. Each scope has an agreed budget and price. You do not need to commission a design from us, however: you can also entrust us with managing a completed apartment prepared independently.

Hundreds of other apartments nearby — experience for your property
GrandRent and Grand Apartments have operated in the Tricity since 2012. In the Wodopój area, we manage hundreds of other apartments; developments where we care for properties include Brabank and DOKI. Our experience covers the sale of stays, guest communication, organising cleaning and ongoing apartment care.
For Wodopój buyers, we propose preparing future cooperation before the property is ready for rental. Earlier arrangements make it possible to plan the sequence of work and division of tasks. This is not a statement that we already manage apartments in this development.
An owner living outside Gdańsk needs a specific point of contact and clear settlements. That is why we start the conversation with responsibilities: what the operator does, what requires the owner’s approval, and how repairs and additional work are agreed.

Rental management at Wodopój — agree the scope and settlement terms
Within the agreed scope, we handle the apartment listing, marketing and pricing, bookings and guests, cleaning arrangements and ongoing technical care. Before rental goes live, we organise information about the furnishings, access and stay rules. We prepare photographs of a finished interior only when the actual property can be shown.
In our booking-management model, you have a dedicated manager, online access to the calendar and rates, and monthly statements. Payment for the previous month is made by the 10th day of the following month. We agree the commission, owner stays, repairs and additional services for the particular apartment.
When comparing operators, look at the scope of work and costs, not only at the commission percentage. Booking turnover is not the amount paid to the owner. We do not promise steady occupancy or guaranteed income — we discuss management terms and assumptions appropriate for your property.
Moderna Holding and Wodopój — a proposal for cooperation with GrandRent
We invite Moderna Holding to discuss support for people buying apartments at Wodopój. We can present a path from a consultation on preparing a property to its later rental management. A team already working with hundreds of other apartments nearby can also be a local contact for a buyer after key handover.
We propose that an interested buyer can learn about the scope of GrandRent services, discuss their apartment and receive individual terms of cooperation. The operator takes on the agreed tasks for the later rental, so the developer does not need to provide that management itself. The buyer retains the choice of operator and contractors.
This is a proposal, not information about a concluded agreement or an endorsement by Moderna. Any sharing of information with buyers, along with the scope, costs and responsibilities, is agreed separately. Management of the building or common areas is also discussed separately; we do not attribute it to ourselves at Wodopój.
